During several workshops artistic director Guillaume Orti will select new musicians for the European Saxophone Ensemble. The selected ones will get the unique opportunity to meet leading composers during residencies and tour throughout Europe in the summer and autumn of 2013.
Workshops are open and free for everyone!
ESE is preparing it's 2013 edition !
Our première will be at Jazzdor Berlin on the 7th of June in the Kesselhaus Kulturbrauerei, Berlin. Afterthat we will tour in at least 10 different countries until october 2013.
New composers are preparing new music pieces. Improvisation will still be a big part of the music.
We will have our first residency in April in Budapest with the composers.
Our second residency will be held in Berlin beginning of June.

The next edition of the 12 Points festival (our friends from Dublin which magical number is also 12) will take place in Dublin from the 13-16 Februrary 2013.
The 12 Points festival showcases 12 young European jazz ensembles each year creating a unique networking opportunity for its participants and is a resource for festival bookers and jazz media who seek an intensive, high quality pan European showcase of emerging jazz talent.
